We at Saint Mary of the Assumption believe that extracurricular activities such as organized athletics is a good avenue for students to learn important life skills such as teamwork and perseverance. Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic School is a member of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). CYO strives to create a safe, healthy environment for the children of our community to grow as young Catholics through athletic competition.
The availability of school athletics is always dependent upon the demand and participation of our students. As a result of demand, Saint Mary’s often partners with other, local, Catholic Schools to form rosters for competition. Students who participate in athletics must pay all athletic fees and submit to all league regulations regarding physicals, etc. In addition, academic, conduct, and attendance eligibility requirements for athletics are enforced.
We continually encourage our student-athletes to work hard on and off the field. Please check out our different athletic programs below:
