🐧Penguin Walk🐧!!!

We started our Animal Science Unit! We read a great story titled Penguin Chick 🐧!! This is an Expository Non-fiction text about Emperor Penguins. We learned that the male Emperor Penguin carries the egg on it's feet to protect it from the ice . This is an example of how animals adapt to their environment.  We wanted to try this! It's not as easy as it looks!!! Take a look at our happy feet 🐧!

Native American Museum - Presented by 3rd Grade

The 3rd grade has been working hard researching the Native American Tribes from the Eastern Woodland Region.  Each student had a tribe from this region to research. The project included: making a diorama of the tribe's habitat, a trifold poster explaining facts about the tribe, an oral presentation during a Museum walk for parents and students in our school, and making various Native American artifacts. The representatives from all of these Eastern Woodland Region tribes did a great job sharing their knowledge about the Native Americans from these tribes!
