Opening - School Board Prayer

Present:  Mrs. Sandor, Father Daniel, Jill Dunkel, Annette Roesener, Brian Myers, Carrie Rupley, Laura Fortman, Sara Lake, Tracy Strater, Mrs. Curtis, Melissa Cass, Angie Jansen

Absent: Tina Gienger, Brad Taggart, Kim Hesher

Approval of minutes from previous meeting

Committee Reports: 

    1. Finance & Development- Jill/Brian

  • Written Report given

    2. Catholic Identity- Angie

  • succession of leadership discussed at committee meeting last month
  • inconclusive at this time-another meeting is needed
  • also need to discuss changing the “sending parish” officer positions to include all sending parishes-not just Immaculate Conception Kville/St. Gaspar
  • tentative committee meeting in January

    3. Enrollment & Marketing- Annette

  • Christmas parade plans discussed/ have a trailer/ want to include as many catholic parishes as possible / Saturday December 3rd @ 1:00pm

    4. Principal Evaluation – Jill (in spring)

    5. Strategic Planning- Brian

  • Written report given


Old / Ongoing Business:

  1. Diocesan School Board In-Service: Reports     
  • Excellent sessions on Marketing, Ethics for SB members given, possibility of guest speaker coming to give an in-service for SB


New Business

  1. 2017-2018 Tuition, Jon Ormiston visit
  • Recommendations from the finance council will be requested re: financial numbers and potential plan to assist the SB on deciding tuition in an efficient and well thought out manner


HASA Report

  • Trunk or Treat was a success and well attended
  • Trivia this weekend 11.5.16


School Administrators Report

  • Written report given

Pastor’s Report

  • Has asked finance council / Brian to advise SB on setting tuition
  • Father will not be present next month

Other Business

  • Discussed the repair / to-do list and what tasks need to have a licensed professional
