January 6, 2015

Present: Mr. Kieffer, Angie Jansen, Annette Roesener,Melissa Cass, Mike Baker, Brad Taggert, Michelle Myers, Kristin Hauck, Tina Gienger, Kim Hesher, Mrs. Richardson

Absent: Scott Gunkel, Rev. Chukwuleta,Sara Lake, Jill Dunkel Opening - School Board Prayer
Review of minutes from last meeting –
Minutes were approved

Committee Reports:

  1. Finance and Development –
    a. increased tuition by 6%
    b. checking area preschools prices compared to ours

  2. Catholic Identity – nothing new

  3. Enrollment and Marketing – nothing new

  4. Principal Evaluation – nothing new

Parish Council Report:

  1. No December meeting

  2. Annette to attend next meeting on January 20th @ 7:00pm

Old Business:

1.Light of Learning Luncheon January 27th @ 11:00 to honor Mrs. Curtis
2.Burger King booklets will be picked up and sent home
3. No report yet from CYO concerning Oak Farm joining – will stay with CYO as much as


New Business:

1. Catholic Schools Week Begins with open house on Jan. 25th
2. Page in Todays Catholic to area zipcodes – cost $61.00 for a half page
3. Teachers suggested each class adopt a parish to help out
4. Mission Party – Friday January 30
5. Strategic Plan – Curriculum – collecting data through dibolts and star testing

Goal 3 – tracking students I step scores from year to year
Goal 4 – art class for middle school, spring musical, grants written for chrome books


HASA report –Kim Hesher

  1. Candle Fundraiser earned $500.00, only 16 families participated

  2. Will try Tide fundraiser this spring

3. Next meeting is Monday January 12 @ 6:00pm

School Administrators Report

1. East Noble has flex days and e-learning days built in to their calendar
2. Going to get the school newspaper going again
3. working on getting Power school up and running – Power school allows parents to see their

childs grades and upcoming assignments
4. Spelling Bee – Olivia Eagan 1
st and Sam Eagan 2nd
